About Dr. Frank Antikidis

Dr. Antikidis came to chiropractic medicine as a result of personal injury. While playing semi-professional soccer, he suffered a painful back injury. He found that chiropractic care not only relieved his pain and restored his full playing ability, but offered the opportunity for in depth one-on-one wellness care. Dr. Antikidis learned that wellness is not just the absence of pain.

Discovering and addressing the causes of the pain, through professional treatments supplemented by complimentary lifestyle practices supports the overall physical health of the body. This, in turn, supports the ability to script and live the life of one’s choosing.

Dr. Antikidis earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from The National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL. A Fellowship in Clinical Pathology provided the background for later associate professor positions in which he taught Anatomy and Physiology at Chicago-area colleges. Interning at the Chicago General Health Center in Chicago, IL, Dr. Antikidis worked firsthand with foremost physicians in the fields of radiology, orthopedics, neurology and sports medicine, strengthening his diagnostic and treatment expertise. Previous education includes a B.S. in Human Biology.

With Dr. Monica Talebnia, Dr. Antikidis established a private practice, ELIXIR Wellness Centre, in 2004. ELIXIR offers services for people of all ages and is dedicated to the treatment of pain and underlying causes as well as preventative treatment. ELIXIR utilizes beneficial, up-to-date chiropractic and acupuncture techniques, nutrition planning and state-of-the-art physiotherapy modalities.

Dr. Antikidis continually evaluates new modalities and is currently pursing a degree in Auriculotherapy, the treatment of physical conditions using Chinese Ear Acupuncture protocols and procedures. He supports his long-standing love of soccer by acting as the chiropractic physician for the Waukegan Soccer League.
